CSU Stanislaus Budget Central

Budget Central has been created to provide the latest news about the CSU Stanislaus budget in light of the state’s severe cuts to the California State University system. The University has been required to make $13.5 million in cuts to its 2009-10 budget, including a $2.5 million reduction of part-time faculty and staff, and has reduced full-time equivalent enrolment to 6,800.  Click on the link above to learn more

When Traci Whittemore decided to resume her college degree pursuits two years ago at the CSU Stanislaus-Stockton Center, she discovered her own personal pot of gold along with the Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice presented to her in June.

The CSU Stanislaus-Stockton Center also provides opportunities for undergraduate students looking to pursue a career in business.  Students who begin their studies at San Joaquin Delta College can benefit from a “2+2” articulation agreement that helps guide business students through their courses at Delta to ensure a smooth transition to CSU Stanislaus as a junior.

Like many Stockton Center students, Veronica Estrada is both typical and unique. The child of farm workers, Veronica, 28, took a seven-year break from her education before making the life decision to return to school and pursue her BA in Criminal Justice.
