Now... Back to what I was saying earlier... I don't enjoy shooting every event... And while I was very impressed with the ambience and vibe in the dining hall... I quickly realized this wasn't going to be an easy event to shoot. Camera geeks would understand what I mean when you have to shoot at 8000 ISO and f 2.8. (What I'm trying to say is that it was really dark in some areas!) I already expected to be challenged by the type of event I was shooting since galas are never really too entertaining in terms of pictures in my opinion... however the lack of lighting in the hall really made things extra challenging for me! But for anyone who knows me... They know that I love a good challenge, so I did what I could under the circumstances. But I encourage anyone reading this to highly consider going to next year's event... and to check out the photo gallery from the event by clicking here.
